Emma Jaques
Managing DirectorOur Managing Director, Emma, has worked in client-facing environments for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in leading, managing and writing hundreds of successful bids to the public sector, the private sector and to funding organisations. She has been a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) since 2006, through which she holds Practitioner accreditation; a global standard. As well as working with corporate clients, Emma loves working with small and medium-sized businesses, giving them the confidence and skills to create winning bids and achieve their potential. With experience of opportunities ranging in size from a few thousand pounds to the hundreds of millions, her all-time win rate at Onto the Page is over 80%. Emma also has an enormous amount experience in coaching and mentoring in bid skills and knowledge management, through the delivery of masterclasses, group training and interactive workshops.Sarah Shafiei-Sabet
Senior Bid ManagerOur Senior Bid Manager, Sarah Shafiei-Sabet, is a highly experienced bid writer, with experience in managing and writing bids to the public and private sector. Working with clients across all sectors, Sarah provides a full range of bid support including identifying and researching bid opportunities, authoring, bid process management, reviewing submissions and feedback. Drawing on past experience, Sarah can directly relate to a client’s bidding experience, and understand the frustrations and pit-falls associated with tendering; this allows her to adapt the services she provides to fully meet client’s needs. Sarah really enjoys helping small businesses get ‘bid ready’ and regularly delivers workshops and training sessions that provide delegates with the tools to write winning bids. Sarah also successfully guided the company through our ISO:9001 certification in early 2019, and now manages our Quality Management System and continuous improvement programme.Joanna Tillott
Associate Bid ManagerAs an Associate, Joanna supports our team in providing bid and tender services to our wide-ranging client base, including delivering tailored training masterclasses on behalf of both Onto the Page and our clients. A member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, and APMP accredited at Foundation Level, Joanna worked as a Bid Manager at Onto the Page from 2014 to 2019.Kate Gregory
Knowledge and Content ManagerOur Knowledge and Content Manager, Kate Gregory, has a background in journalism and a wealth of experience in gathering information and transforming it into compelling, easy to read copy. Her key role is to work closely with our clients to write bids and award applications, as well as creating copy for a wide range of marketing materials including websites, blogs, brochures and adverts. A qualified proofreader, Kate has also worked extensively in information management and is tasked with supporting clients in the use of our knowledge management software, Knowledge Central.Nahid Mollik
Business Support ExecutiveOur Business Support Executive, Nahid, looks after our search service, identifying suitable tendering opportunities from the public sector registers. He's also responsible for our website and social media for both Onto the Page and key clients, as well as supporting the bid team on live opportunities. He is studying for a BSc in Business Management at the University of Leeds.Kiran Landa
Business Support OfficerOur Business Support Officer, Kiran, provides vital support to the whole team. A key member of the search service team, Kiran identifies suitable tendering opportunities for our clients. Using her background in marketing and business support, Kiran supports all areas of the business, from office administration to arranging our tendering workshops.
Emma Jaques, our Managing Director, has written two books on bidding best practice for international publishers, Kogan Page.
Bid Management is written for those with little or no bid experience, whilst The Winning Bid is aimed at the more experienced bid manager.
